Huge thanks once again to everyone who supported Anderby Rocks this summer. A staggering £6,300 raised to support the life-saving work of Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

The free-entry music festival wasn’t just about the incredible tunes and electric atmosphere; it was also a heartfelt way to raise funds for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, a cause close to the organisers hearts.

Organiser Bev Brown said: “”Since the first event, the festival has raised over £17,000 to support The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.  It is a most valuable of resource in our region and it holds a special significance to us as one of team’s daughters had to be airlifted by the helicopter not too long ago when she was young. The speed and efficiency with which they arrived and transported her to the hospital left an everlasting imprint on our gratitude-filled hearts. Since then, we’ve been committed to giving back to those who were there for us in a time of need.”

Anderby Rocks was formed in 2017 by a few local Anderby residents and their friends. Recognizing the importance of supporting this life-saving charity, talented local bands generously donate their time and talent which means that their selfless contribution helps create an incredible lineup that keeps toes tapping, heads nodding, and hearts beating to the rhythm of the music.

Organiser Beverley Brown said: “Anderby Rocks is an inclusive and family-orientated event that brings the magic of live music to the local community.  It is a free event so everybody can enjoy the opportunity to experience exceptional music without any financial barriers.

But it doesn’t stop there. Every single penny earned from the sales of delicious burgers, jacket potatoes, refreshing drinks, and other festival goodies is also dedicated to supporting the Air Ambulance.   As Bev said: “We wanted to make sure that every profit we made went directly towards the cause that holds a special place in our community’s heart.”

Since its the inaugural event in 2018, the Anderby Rocks Festival has continued to grow and gain popularity. Year after year, we’ve witnessed the power of music bringing people together, creating connections, and making a positive impact.
