George was eight years old when he was involved in a road traffic incident

George Bellars, one of our most successful raffle ticket sellers, knows all too well the importance of Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. He was only eight years old when he was involved in a road traffic incident near his home in Spalding. The car he was travelling in veered off the road and landed upside down, submerged in the adjacent drain, trapping George in the icy water. Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance crew arrived in record time, and the quickly decided to airlift George straight to Pilgrim Hospital, Boston.

George is forever grateful to Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and as he got older, George began taking part in challenge events and selling raffle tickets, encouraging others to buy a ticket and support our life-saving work. So far George has raised a fantastic £6,105.86!
