Ena is 103 years old. It dawned on her last birthday that the thing she wanted to do most of all was to go and see the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance helicopter.

And Ena’s dream came true when on a cold December morning, she visited the LNAA headquarters. She said: “I didn’t realise how big the helicopter was. It was lovely and the pilot was so kind chatting to me. Thank you for making this day such a special one.”

Thank you, Ena, for your generosity in supporting the work of Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

As we receive no direct Government funding we rely on fundraisers like Ena to support our work. This year it will cost £8 million to keep our crews operational and delivering critical care to people across the counties of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.  Your generosity means we can be by the patient’s side when they need it most.
