As we monitor developments with the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain committed to providing a pre-hospital critical care response during the outbreak. Our Ambucopter crew continue to respond to emergencies and are well placed to respond to this ever-changing picture. They have taken delivery of full Personal Protective Equipment to ensure patient safety and of course, to protect themselves. We are working alongside our ambulance service colleagues and NHS hospitals to monitor developments to ensure that patients across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire continue to receive the best possible care.

In order to protect our staff, volunteers and the wider community, we have cancelled all events, cheque collections, talks, box collections and all upcoming engagements which involve the gathering of people. We haven’t yet cancelled our Ride to Save Lives or Morocco Three Peaks Challenge which take place later this year but we will monitor the situation.  All of our Shops have been temporarily closed and we advise people to hold on to clothing, furniture and other shop donations for the time-being.

Our offices in Lincoln are now operating on reduced staffing as the majority of our teams work from home. The Nottingham Office is closed. If you have raised money for us, you can send us a cheque to Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, 1 Bentley Drive, Bracebridge Heath, Lincoln, LN4 2QW or make an online donation at www.ambucopter.org.uk. Alternatively you can contact the Charity team at [email protected]. If you have collection tins or buckets, please hold on to these for the time being.

To contact us, please call 01522 548469 and leave a message. You can also email us at [email protected]. Please follow us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/ambucopter Twitter: @LNAACT and Instagram: @LNAACT where we will be posting up-to-date information.

We know this will have a significant impact on our income through loss of sales and fundraising though it is too soon to know how bad this will be.  Suffice to say, we need your help now more than ever. If you are able to help by making a regular or one off donation, visit www.ambucopter.org.uk/donate

Thank you to each and every one of our supporters. Patients’ lives still depend on us being there, so your continued support is really appreciated. Stay safe.
