A huge mountain-climbing, foot trekking thank you to four fabulous employees of Lincoln based, NMB-Minebea UK Ltd, together with three friends, for taking on the UK’s Three Peak Challenge and raising an amazing £3,325 for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

The company’s HR and Finance Manager, Alison Robinson said: “LNAA is NMB-Minebea UK Ltd’s chosen Charity of the Year and the Three Peak Challenge is just one of our fundraising activities.

It was challenging due to the extreme heat and some of the team suffering from travel sickness but an amazing thing to do. The views from the top of each mountain were awesome and the sunset at the top of Ben Nevis was amazing. Each of us found different mountains more challenging and the lack of sleep and food made the challenge even harder.

We couldn’t have done any of it without our amazing driver Andy who probably had the toughest job of us all. Stuck in a mini bus with 6 women!!!”

Head of Corporate, Community and Events, Tanya Taylor said: “As a charity, we rely on the generosity of people like Alison and her team to keep our doctors and paramedics operational, delivering pre-hospital emergency care to critically ill or injured people at the scene.”
