Thank you to The Sleaford and District Model Railway Club for their fantastic donation of £2,090 raised at their annual Model Makers Show.

Sleaford and District Model Railway Club are huge supporters of our life-saving charity and continue to support us year after year. To date they have raised an incredible £18,953.36.

Charity Exhibition Manager, Eddie King, explained why the club chose to donate the money raised to Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.  “Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance is a crucial service that is by the side of patients on their very worst day. Without this service many would have lost their lives. Thank you to the crew for everything you do, and we hope this donation can allow LNAA to continue to save lives”.

Volunteer Jo Middleton went to a recent club celebration last month and gave thanks for this fantastic donation. It will cost £10 million in 2023 to keep LNAA operational, enabling our dedicated pilots, doctors and paramedics to carry the most up-to-date life-saving equipment and take an emergency department directly to the scene of some of the most serious incidents in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

As we receive no regular direct funding from the Government, we rely solely on the generosity and goodwill of people and organisations like Sleaford & District Model Railway Club to support our work.
