Pat’s Barmy Army Step Out For LNAA
A huge foot stepping thank you to Pat and his Barmy Army for organising two sponsored walks in 2024 and raising over £6,600 in aid of LNAA
Organiser Pat, from Collingham, Nottinghamshire explained why he chose LNAA and said: “Last November the air ambulance was called to one of my walking football friends who suffered a cardiac arrest. It was very reassuring to know it was on site. Therefore, I decided it was payback time to a very much appreciated service. As we are all well aware of the financial cost required in running the operation, we decided we would contribute the best we could.”
LNAA Community Fundraiser, Jac Sutherland gave thanks to the 20 walkers who strode out in both the walks and said: “Your efforts will fund the equivalent of 13 blood transfusions and will potentially saving the lives of some of the most critically injured people in Lincs & Notts.”
