Winners of our 25th Anniversary Super Draw announced!

We’re delighted to announce the winners of our 25th Anniversary Super Draw.

As part of the draw, which was carried out by the Charity’s on-duty medical crew, winners from across the two counties were selected at random.

The winning ticket, which was worth an incredible £2500, went to Mr and Mrs Kettleborough from Newark, whilst four lucky winners from Forest Town, Nottingham, Skegness and Newark scooped £250 each.

Eddie Kettleborough, who won £2,500 as part of the Super Draw, said: “We are so chuffed to win this amount of money – I thought it was a joke at first! It couldn’t have come at a better time with it being just before Christmas.

“We’ve always been supporters of the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. They all do a fantastic job, and we cannot thank them enough for this amazing prize.”

Debbie Laking at Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance has been leading this year’s Charity draw. She said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported our 25th Anniversary Super Draw; we’ve raised an incredible £100,000!

“As a Charity, we’re totally reliant on the support of our local communities, and every penny that has been raised will help us to keep our helicopter in the skies and continue saving lives every day.

“Congratulations to all of our Super Draw winners, and we hope you enjoy receiving your winnings just in time for Christmas!”

The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance is at the forefront of Helicopter Emergency Services in the UK, with the helicopter and crew attending an average of three potentially life-saving missions every single day, 365 days of the year.

The Charity, which celebrates its 25th Anniversary this year, receives no direct Government funding and relies solely on the support of the communities to raise the funds needed to keep their helicopter in the air. Every year they respond to approximately 1,000 of the most serious emergencies across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, with each mission costing approximately £2,500.
