SOME OF OUR
FANTASTIC
FUNDRAISERS

Every year hundreds of people undertake fundraising events for our Charity, from cake and bake sales to rallies and marathons.

Here are some of those amazing people…

Vehicle Procurement
Charity Gala

Notts business, Vehicle Procurement (VP) has supported us for four years, undertaking various fundraising events.

A charity gala night raised £5,910 taking the total raised by the business to an amazing £12,675!

Director Malcolm Ledgar said: “We recognize the synergy between ourselves and the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance Charity – VP puts new cars on the road for our customers and the Ambucopter attends many road traffic collisions every year.”

Keen runner Craig is a big supporter of the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

He has run two London Marathons for our Charity, raising over £10,000

Craig said: “This year I wanted to go even further than last year so being a farmer I came up with the idea of wearing a tractor costume. It is a scale version of a tractor that we do use on the farm. It is actually not as heavy as you think, but when the wind hits you, it is really difficult to control so I am hoping for a fairly nice, sunny day for the Marathon. As farmers we work in isolated places, so the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance is crucial. I am happy to support this valuable Charity again!”

Adam, left, chose to raise money after his best friend Jamie, right, was airlifted to QMC. He went on to undergo emergency surgery to remove a blood clot the size of a fist from his brain.

He ran 300 miles from Wales to Skegness over two weeks raising an amazing £7,342.18

Adam explained: “The air ambulance played such a massive part in saving Jamie’s life on that day so I wanted to do something to support my local air ambulance, the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. Jamie’s recovery is still on-going, but if it wasn’t for the air ambulance, it could have been a very different story. I think it is important to support my local air ambulance.”
