Finance Manager

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 pro rata (dependent on experience)

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

Location: Bracebridge Heath, Lincoln with a requirement to travel to our Nottingham office as required.

OVERVIEW

The Charity provides a first-class Helicopter Emergency Service (HEMS) for the counties of Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire. We are seeking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to support the Head of Finance and manage specific aspects of the finances of the Charity and its subsidiary. This is a hands-on position, and the successful candidate will be expected to fulfil a range of activities to support the finance department.

 

REGULAR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monthly management accounts preparation including all balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, inter-company balances for both the Charity and our Trading Subsidiary
  • Produce accurate and timely monthly consolidated management accounts including accurate position of balance sheet, variance analysis commentary together with KPI reporting
  • Supporting non-financial managers through monthly variance analysis and KPI reporting
  • Procurement of goods through on-line suppliers and direct management of company credit card holders
  • Authorisation and oversight of new supplier accounts
  • Mobile phone management
  • Maintain contracts register
  • Oversight and management of accurate coding within all ledgers
  • Management of financial elements of the website ensuring efficient processes in place
  • Maintain fixed asset register and verify physical existence of assets, apply depreciation on a monthly basis
  • Stock control and merchandise including procurement, quarterly stock takes and year end valuation.
