Shop Manager: Retford
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Manager for our busy Retford Charity Shop.
Hours: 22.5 hours per week to be arranged and will involve Saturday work
Salary: £15,000 – 17,500 pa dependent on experience pro rata (actual £9,000 – £10,500)
We are looking for someone who is passionate about charity retail and has experience of working with volunteers. You must be flexible, creative and hard working. We would like someone who will be able to demonstrate the willingness to ‘go the extra mile’ for the charity, volunteers and customers.

We are looking a new volunteer to join our friendly team selling some of our more unusual or higher valued donations using eBay, maximising the funds raised to help us continue saving lives every day.
Tasks involved with the role include:
- To identify items that are collectables or antiques
- To research saleable items
- To write descriptions and take photographs of items to be auctioned and sold via our eBay account.
- Under the guidance of the Head of Retail, price items including setting a reserve price where appropriate
- To create listings using eBay’s online software
- To monitor bids
- To answer any queries
- To pack items for postage
Commitment: Ideally 1 or 2 shifts of 4 hours per week based at our office at Bracebridge Heath HQ
Travel expenses can be reimbursed.

Do you love rummaging and hunting for hidden treasure? We are looking for volunteers to help sort donated items at our Bracebridge Heath HQ. From clothing and accessories to toys and games, you never know what each day will bring.
You will be taught how to spot hidden gems, collectibles and items that can be sold online to maximise the money raised to support this life-saving service. No experience is needed as all training will be given.

Could you volunteer at least one morning or afternoon a week to work in one of our Charity Shops across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire? Every year our shops contribute towards the £2.5million we need to raise to ensure we can continue to operate and keep saving lives 365 days of the year.
We have six shops in Lincolnshire: Lincoln High Street, Bracebridge Heath, Spalding, Wragby, Market Rasen and Ashby.
And, five shops in Nottinghamshire: Mansfield Woodhouse, Mapperley, Retford, Stapleford and Sutton in Ashfield.
If you would like to volunteer at any of our shops from just one day a week, we would love to hear from you. Full training will be given.
Although we always welcome new volunteers at any of our shops, we are particularly in need iof volunteers to fill shifts at our Spalding shop (Fridays and Saturdays), our Bracebridge Heath shop (Monday, Friday and Saturday mornings), and our Market Rasen shop (any day).
